I have been using the TrueTrack meter for almost a month. I kept wondering why my home results were so different than those of my doctor. So, we double tested in the office. This meter was anywhere from 125 to 200 mg/dl off! And that was the range of deviation from the real reading with the same blood sample tested three times within two minutes. The bad results resulted in Somogyi rebounds.

Also, I constantly received errors with the monitor, and their customer service was useless.

The device also shuts off quickly; so if you have to re-stick, you’re going to have to restart the device. I even had it shut down while the test strip was sucking up the blood, which they are slow to do.

Overall, I would give this negative five stars if I could.

But compared to the double-the-price for the same "perfect box" item at CVS, I was happy to get the banged-up box version. Everything inside was pristine, which is all that matters. <br/><br/>Regarding the written instructions: While the instruction book is rich with information and is well-written, it could be laid out better, especially with the small-format format. Also, it would be nice to have one page, early on that speaks to the first-time user who hasn't received any instruction. Something that says: "How to do your first reading": 1) Buy/get test strips; 2) code the reader with one new strip; 3) lance finger; 3) apply blood to strip; 4) enter journal information into the device." I am regretting having ordered these strips and monitor. They are incredibly inconsistent. Two strips tested on the same blood drop will be as much as 20 points apart. On top of that, they measure at least 20% higher than my actual reading. Buy something else!

I purchased this meter and it showed my glucose level as high I checked it with another meter and it was normal. This meter is no good it gives you false readings. I have found this meter to be very inaccurate. It varys wildly in the readings and the strips give errors so many times that I ended up throwing about 1 in 5 away. Waste of money and the reading could be potentially dangerous. Not happy with this brand at all.
